Points races for first, second, and third-class yachts will be hold this afternoon The conrs* for the first and second-class trill be the usual club course—-Clyde quay wharf, Jerningham, Ngaluiuranga, Clyde quay marK, Jerningham and back to starting line. The third-class course will be from Clyde quay wharf, Jerningham, Pipitea, Clyde quay mark, Jerningham, and starting line. The winner of the first-class holds -Mr George Winder’s Cup for -the ensuing year. This fact lends particular importance to this series of points races, and very keen Jntercst is being shown in the result. Tiic entries for the first-class are: Waitangi, Marangi, Rona, Ailsa, Wairero It, Wanderer, Atalanta, and Viola. The entries in the second-class are: Galatea, Wylo, Idanthe, Lizzie, and Windward. For third-class: Warehou .and Muritai. OCEAN YACHT PACE. Since the lost report of the Port Underwood race held by the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club, a recount has been taken, placing Galatea first, total time taken Ifhrs «min. less handicap IGOnrin, mean time 12hrs 6mm; \V anderer was second, total time taken J2hrs SDmin, less handicap 60min, mean time being IShrs 39min-, Komp tmra, total time taken 16brs 39min, less handicap 220 min, mean time being X2hrs 58mm.
