«y YOUNG MAN, CHARGED. A voung man, James Harold, alias O'Brien, alias John, nlias J. H. Bennett, -was arrested on Tuesday on a charge that, on February 12th, at AVollington, he Stole a. Buit-caee, portmanteau, two suits, one camersv and tripod, a quantity of photographic accessories, two razors, six shirts, 24 collars, two suits pyjamas, socks, 12 ties, 24 handkerchiefs, ono pair trousers, and one jersey, of a total value of X6O, the property of Robert John Telfer. 'When he was brought beror© Mr T,. Page, S.-M., at the Police Court yesterday, Chief .Detective A. Ward said that as several other charges were pending against tho accused (who had intimated to the police that ho intended to render them every assistance) ho would liko a remand tor on© week.
This was approved, and tho remand granted.
