THE TRAMWAY BALLOT
RETURNS STILL INCOMPLETE. THE WELLINGTON VOTING. The ballot being ’taken by the vari* ~ ous tramway uniops throughout New Zealand hi order to decide for the acceptance or rejection of the terms of settlement of the dispute with the employers, framed at the recent conference, is not yet completed. It is improbable that the result will be announced before Saturday, for all returns are not yet received. It is understood all votes, with the exception of the local ones, have been counted, and that the Wellington ballot will net be completed till the end of the week. No announcement will he made a* . to the district returns, and the question will he decided on the "total Do minion issue. .
