Arrangements have been made with the Now Zealand Flying School (Messrs Walsh Bros, and Dexter), Ltd., Auckland, to perform experimental aerial mail services over a limited-, period between Auckland and Thames, Auckland and Dargavillo, and Auckland and Whangarci. There will ho' probably two or three trips a week oyer each of tho routes mentioned. The aerial mail is dispatched from Auckland to Thames pt 10 n.m., tho piano leaving Thames on tho return trip at 1 p.m. Tho goldfields towns, being on tho Coromandel Peninsula, aro handicapped, for tho reason that tho train journey from Auckland to Thames takes half a day and the steamer journey never lees than four hour's, with ever-changing hours on account of tho varying tides.
