THE COMSMG VISIT DETAILS OF TOUR NOT YET ARRANGED. PER rRESS ASSOCIATION-. CHR.ISCHURCH, February 11. At a meeting of the Princo of Wales Reception Committee to-night tho Mayor (Dr Thacker, M.P.) said ho had had an interview with Sir Francis Bell, who had an audience with tho Governor-General that morning, and had minutely discussed the details of the Princo s visit to the Dominion. Sir Francis Bell informed Dr 1 hacker that tho definite itinerary was not yet drawn up. The Renown would arrive presumably at Auckland, on April 17th, and the Prince would spend twenty-eight days altogether in Now Zealand. It was proposed that ho should spend three days fishing, probably in tho Rotorua district, and four days deer shooting. Wherevei possible, ho would travel by train, i'en or twelve days would bo spent in the South Island and the Chri.stchureh visit would extend to four days. While in Ohristchurch tho Prince would bo the guost of the GovernorGeneral at Elmwood, and his retinuo would comprise about forty persons. Sir Francis Bell said the Princo would not be entertained privately, except by tho Governor-General, and thu only form of inside entertainment dosired was the Citizens' Ball. The Government would give a £ for £ subsidy on what was expended generally on the reception, as well as on tho decorations and illuminations. Children would be conveyed free on the railways to the cities, and while tho Princo was in the South Island tho Renown would stay all tho time in Lyttelton harbour. A wish had been expressed by the Prince that ho should bo given an opportunity to see as many people as possible, especially the young folk- Any addresses which it was desired to be presented to the Prince, should be forwarded ono month prior to his arrival in Now Zealand.
