CONFERENCE PROCEEDING. Tho informal conference between representatives of tho Now Zealand lypo-_ graphical Unions and representatives oi tho Belated Printing Trades' Association was continued yesterday. Mr A. ICarter presided. . , After a prolonged session practical unanimity was fc ccured on demands for hours, wages, overtime, end holidays. Tho typographical conference then resumod its sittings to consider matters solely affecting the typographical section of the trade. ' Following tho combined conference between the representatives of the Typo graphical Unions, and Printers. Machinists Book Binders. Lithographers, and other sections of the printing industry, a, conference of represorotativs of the Related Printing Trades' Association was held in the Trades Hall yesterday afternoon. Mr W. P. Roborts, president of the association, presided; other delegates present /ere as follow:—Messrs ]{.. Hustler. V. U. Clifford, C. TI. Chapman (Wellington Letterpress, Print, rs. Lithographers, and Paper-cutters' Unions'); Mr 11. ?.fartin (Auckland city f»male bookbinders, rulers, 'envelope-makers, and printers' feeders); Messrs .T. Meljinarney. the president, and E. E. Orossman (Auckland Printers, Machinists, and Bookbinders' Union); Messrs W. Beeby and J. 11. Smith (Dunedin Printers, Machinists. Bookbinders and Lithographers and Related Trades' Union): Messrs C. Renn and .T. W. Roberts (Christchurch Printing Trades' Union).
