.After strenuous efforts 'to straighten oat the Parliamentary tangle which is tying up tho Senate finally voted to recommit it to the Foreign Relations Committee, with instructions that tho committee report the Treaty, but with tho I/odgo reservations. Senator Hitchcock at first refused to permit the Treaty to retain the Lodge reservations, even in committee, but finally consented. It is understood "that Senator Lodge will offer -modification of his reservations, while tho Republican "mild reservationists'' will attempt to obtain changes in Senator Lodge's reservation regarding Articlo Too m order to assure Senator Hitchcock's support. RATIFICATION URGED. (Received February 11, 1.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Fobruary 10. Twenty-six national organisations of various kinds representing u. membership of fifty millions have addressed a memorial to President Wilson and the Senate urging that tho reservations to tho Treaty should bo .quickly cast into final form and the -Treaty .-ratified. BIG LONDON MEETING SUPPORTS LEAGUE. LONDON, February 7. Twenty thousand women crowded Hie Albert Hall at a meeting in support of tho League . of-r Nations. There were two great overflow meetings. Lord Robert. Cecil, Lady Astor, Lady Islington, and the Misses Royden and Mary MacArthur were among the speakers.
HUNGARY WANTS REVISION OF TREATY. NEW YORK, February 7. The Paris correspondent of tho "Chicago Tribune" states that Count Apponyi -will return to Paris on Thursday to demand complete revision of the Hungarian Peace Treaty.
