SUPERFLUOUS HAIR LATEST AMERICAN TREATMENT. That hair can bo successfully. and permanently removed by electrolysis is now an established fact. It was not until the year 1879 that Dr. C. B. Michel, of St. Louis, U- fa -A.. devised a method for removing hair, t>y means of electrolysis. America, is, therefore, the home ot this treatment, and it was at one of the leading institutions in that country that Mia Rolleston secured her diploma ten years ago, naving been trainee! personally by Or. A. Rhodes, ot Boston. , , ... Mrs Rolleston is recognised as tne most successful operator in Australasia, and the leading authority where disfigurements caused by the growtu 01 hair or mol«6 are concerned. Her experience is based en a thorough Knowledge of the electrical current required, and on sound medical training—hence hor successful treatments, which aro executed without the slightest .scar or blemish remaining, and the hair is removed for all time. , Mr e Rolleston has just returned from America, the visit being expressly made to further study the most up : to-date appliances and no'wost methods in her profession. Needless to say, the latest and best have been obtained, and in the course of a few weeks the spacious, wellequipped toilet rooms in Lainbton auay will be newly fitted up. The latest method of electrolysis has been in use for the past fortnight, and without exception all who have received treatment state that there is much less discomfort than by the single needle, and hair can be removed in ono-fourth the time. This method is specially convenient for many who come a distance tor, the express purpose of having superfluous hair removed. However few hairs you may be troubled with, Mrs Eolleston's advice is to have them instantly taken out. The very worst and most distressing growths begin with a few hairs; often they aro pulled by tweezers, or cut, both mothods increasing ' the growth rapidly. Later on an advertisement for a depilatory sounds attractive, as itl guarantees to remove the hair. It certainly will, but only for a few days; and in many cases is more harmful than shaving for increasing the growth. Tho heaviest growth can be permanently removed by electrolysis. It requires patience, certainly; but regular weekly or fortnightly treatments of an hour have proved to hundreds how worthwhile it is, and that electrolysis is absolutely the only permanent euro. As Mrs Rolloston gives her personal attention to every case it is advisable to book an appointment. 25fi, Larubton quay.—Advt.
