THE ANNUAL PICNICi : The annua] picnic of the employees of Hannah's Ltd., was held at (Maidstone Park, Upper .Hutt, in, glorious weather, and proved a great success, Mr W. Denby, the factory manager, with some of the staff, working in conjunction with the employees' committee. Mr Cruiekshanks acted in the capacity of secretary. There were 200 people present. Men's three-legged race: Dennig r.nd Bailey 1, £>enby and Lattimer 2. Apprentices' race: Longhurst 1, Pra.tt 2, Howifcfc 3. Ladies' three-legged race: Misses Toff and Collins 1, Misses Hebbit and Ho<lge 2. Ladies' nomination' race: Miss McKinloy 1, Miss Howifct 2, Miss Hill 3. Skipping race: E.
