SOLUTION OF BRITISH RAILWAY ' DIFFICULTIES. Published in "The Time*.” (Received November 5, 7.25 pim.) LONDON, November 3. Addressing railwayman at Cambridge, Mr J. H. Thomas said the Government had been informed that it was useless asking the workers to infuse a now spirit unless they were frankly recognised as partners in industry. ■ “First tho railwaymen must have equal representation on the boards which decide tho conditions of work," ' said Mr Thomas, “and next wo intend to he railway directors, believing that Labour's brains and experience would contribute the solution of tho employers' difficulties."
