ST PATRICK’S COLLEGE ANNUAL GATH KILLING AT NEWTOWN PARK. The thirty-fifth animal athletic sports meeting of St* Patrick s College vas hold yesterday at Newtown Park. Excellent weather prevailed during the day, but about four o J clock a heavy hailstorm prevented the continuance of the sports, much to the disappointment of the scholarge. There are still six .events to be run and these will be competed for at a later date oh the Basin Reserve. During the afternoon a largo number ot visitors attended, including Ills brace Archbishop Redwood and the Commissoner of Police (-Mr .1. Donovan).
