An English lady miniature painter, vvho has been in bed in a crippled stata since she was six years old, used n novel method of raising funds for the Red Cross. Tiny tcasets were made by her of fish-bones, and, after being decorated .with colour and gold, were sold. Several hundreds of pounds were raised for charities and wounded soldiers in this way.
