(From Our Own Correspondent.) MASTETtTON, February 20. Mr Adam. Donald has been appointed to succeed Mr F. Hooper in control of the labour Department's office, at Masterton. ■Gunner Percy Cooper, who has been seriously ill, is improring:. Miss F. E»'Eonaldson, late of Timaru South suhooi, has. been appointed a teacher at the. Soliray Girls' College. Mrs C. Campbell has died at Maryborough, at the a#e of 52 years. The .twelve-year-old son of Mr and Mrs ,T. A. McCarthy, of Featherston, died in the Masterton hospital yesterday. The takings at the Mnaterton show amounted to £534, against .£540 last year. '
