YACHTING
Tho committee of the Fort Nieholsrm Yacht Club met last night. The postponed races have beep fixed to bo sailed as follows:—Ladies' Hnue, Jlareh 22nd. Tho first-class points race which should have been eailed on February Ist, to bo sailed on March • 2!)th. The General Handicap of Anniversary Day will bo resailed oa April sth. Saturday's event is the Interclub Race, under tho Yacht Rncing Association's auspices. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club has invited tho crews and friends of all competing clubs to afternoon tea at tho Jioat Harbour. A band, etc., will entertain the puests of the club during the races. In the evening a smoke eoncert will be held for tho visiting yachtsmen nt tho Boat Harbour.
