DAY OFPRAYER FIXED. SYDNEY, February 20. A proclamation fixes Sunday as a day of prayer in connection with the epidemic. SEAMEN'S DISPUTE ENDED. (Received- February 20, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, February 20. The dispute between the Federated Seamen's and Firemen's Union and the Australasian Steamship Owners' Association over improved conditions on account of influenza hag been ended. The men have decided to resume work and refer their claims to the Arbitration Court. VICTORIA AND BORDER RESTRICTIONS. (Received February 20, 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 20. Ten more deaths are reported. Mr Lawson has appealed to Mr Holman to lift the border restrictions to enable travellers, including a number of New Zealanders, to return MELBOURNE, February 20. The Labour Party passed a resolution condemning the Government's inadequate methods in dealing with those who are unemployed through the influenza epidemic, and the incomplete system adopted in preventing infection.
