A BOY'S DEATH

TOP OF HEAD BLOWN OFF. Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 20. The body of a boy-was found with the top of his skull blown off near Pukehawa, about seven miles from Tuakau, yesterday. The facts of the case, as deposod to at tho inquest, were that deceased left his father's house yesterday. He was seen riding a horse, and apparently to bo in good health. On the Pukekawa road about an hour later the body was found with the top part of the head blown off, and a shotgun lying alongside. Scratched upon a bag wtsre words indicating an intention to commit suicide, and stating that he had been "driven to this." The Inquest was adjourned.
