THE QUEEN'S THEATRE
Screened for the first time on Saturday before large audiences, and to be continued throughout the week at the Queen's Theatre, Cuba street, is tho English produced photopiav "The Mail Who Stayed at Home." The film follows the play of 'the same title very closely, and'is enhanced bv the addition of several strikinsr and realistic pictures of the work of tho British Navy during the last four years. Britain's bulwarks, including tho New Zealand and the North Sea Fleet, .together .with the submarine and destroyer fleet are realistically shown, in conjunction wrth the main points of the play. The chief points of the drama are brought out in full, the women munition workers, artillery and cavalry reinforcements, the discovery of tho wireless plant, the "shooting of the carrier pigeon and the subsequent sensational climax, all are most convincingly shown. Mr Denis Bid. : .e, the wellknown London actor, takes the leading role, supported bv tho original east... Tho picture is being screened under the auspices of the Navy League, and is a striking object -Jeßson as demonstrating the (Treat debt owing to the British Navy bv tho world at large.
