NO LATE WORK IN WELLINGTON. About 800 waterside workers attended a “stop-work” meeting yesterday morning, which was presided over by Mr T. Glover. It-, was decided that tho thorough fumigation of shipping should continue under tho direction of the Waterside Health Committee. The men agreed not to work vessels after 5 p.m. until another meeting is hold next Thursday morning to review the situation with regard to the epidemic. The meeting agreed that members entrust the position to the executive of tho union, which will advise tho men if fresh matters should arise concerning the influenza outbreak. DUNEDIN AND PORT CHALMERS WHARVES. Press Association. DUNEDIN. November 28. A mass meeting of Dunedin waterside workers decided not to resume work until Monday next.
