VICTORIA COLLEGE COUNCIL
A meeting; of the Victoria College Council was held Inst evening and was attended bv Sir Robert Stout (in the chair), the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, M.L.C.. Rev. W. A. Evans, Professor Somerville, Messrs C. B. Morison, K.C.. \V. H. Morton and. Bakewell. It was resolved tliat tho question of the memorial hail bo dropped for the present. The consideration of regulations as to the Rhodes Scholarship wa.t deferred until next meeting. Accounts ' amounting to ■£1227 12s lid were passed for payment. It was arranged that the council should meet on the second Wednesday in December, but not in January.
