There are odd lots of wheat and oats occasionally coming into the market, the former remaining from what growers have required for their own use. Prime oats hear' chaff is still in demand, and no to J}7 5s B«r ton at country stations has been paid. Shipping space, even to Wellington, is very scarce, and no; arrangements have, yet been made for a special, boat to take the largo quantity of chaff awaiting shipment to the North Island. The potato market is very quiet, there being few inquiries, and at the same time few aro offering. The ruling prices offered are -87 15s to -£S at country stations. WELLINGTON CUSTOMS.
