The Re (aiming Officer (Mr G. L. Stewart) notifies that for the Education Board election the following nominations have been received for the biennial election : Wellington Urban (two seats)—Clarke, James John; Evans, Frederick John; Forsyth, Thomas; Shand, Joseph Paterson. Hutt-Petone Urban (one sent)—Loudon, George Thomas. Hutt-Horowhonna Rural (one seat) — Harkness, Charles Irvine; Murray, Alexander; Petrie Frederick Herbert. Wairarapa Rural (one seat) Hogg, Alex, Wilson; Holmes, Archibald Crawford. Marlborough Rural (one seat)—McCallum, ' Richard; Cooko, Bernard James. Extraordinary Election; Wellington Urban (ono seat, Mr Allan resigned)— Evans, Frederick Charles; I'yflo, William. Kington; Shand, Joseph Paterson. Mr London is rc-oiccted to" 1 represent the Ilutt-Potonc urban area. In each of the remaining divisions there is a contest the date of which is July 17th. At the same time is held the extraordinary election of ono member to succeed Mr Wm. Allan resigned.
