Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for a continuance of unsettled weather and high and squally westerly winds, with heavy showers generally. Flooded rivers may be expected in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. Barometer unsteady; falling tendency. (Summary on last page.)
