TRAWLERS ARRESTED

Press Annnclatlsn. AUCKLAND, May 6. Two steam trawlers, the Countess and Muriel; owned by Siniord, Ltd., were arrested by-tho Inspector of Fisheries' on " suspicion; of'trawling within the prohibited arod" in'the Gulf. Both trawlers were allowed to continue trawling, but tho department does not waive the right to their ultimate seizure, and if procedings are token and a conviotion recorded, tho value of the fish will be claimed by tho d«>partment. The masters of both vessels deny trawling in the prohibited area.
