Dutch flipping from the Indies to British amd ports has been absolutely stopped by.tho Dutch steamship companies, who declare that the seizure of Dutch steamers is a violation of the alleged agreement with tire British-India Government, in which it was guaranteed that there should bo no seizure of the Rotterdam Lloyds, Ncthorhmd and Paketvaart fleet in exchange for supplying Dutch tonnage at a low rate to British-India. The Government contradicts the companies’ version of the agreement. Sugar, rubber, and tobacco-grower s are suffering badly on account of the stoppage of export facilities.
