WELLINGTON RIFLE CLUB UNION

At a meeting of "the Wellington Rifle Club Union on Wednesday night it was decided to proceed with the match for tho junior challenge shield on Saturday afternoon at the Miramar range. Nominations wore received by the union from the Petone, Karori, Suburbs, and Old Navals Clubs,, each club entering one team for the competition. A postponement committee was appointed to determine, in the event of the weather on Saturday being unsettled, whether tho match is to be held, and In the case of a postponement to acquaint members of teams at the “Evening Post’’ between noon and 1 p.m. The range officer for the day will be Major H. Hawthorn, and the trench officer Air W. Cowan.
