TO-NIGHT’S MEETINGS
A. A. Poison. Independent Liberal candidate, will address the ©lectors at concert chamber of tho Town Hall tonight at 8 o’clock. A rally will be hold outside the Town Hall .when Dr Thacker and Mr Poison will speak. This rally is to take tho place of the one which was to have been held at It. J. Seddon’s Statue, Parliament Grounds, but was inhibited by the Speaker (the Hon. Sir F. W. Laing), as it was a precedent which ho thought undesirable.
Ladies are cordially idnvited to meet Mr Poison at his committee rooms this afternoon at 3 p.m. A meeting of Mr Luke’s men’s committee will ibc held tonight (Friday), at 8 o’clock in the committee rooms on Lambton quay. ' A mooting in support of Mr Holland’s candidature will bo held at the Post. Office square to-day at noon. In the evening the candidate will speak at the Masonic Hall, Bouloo.tt street. Mr R. do B. Brandon will continue his election campaign as under:—'Monday next—Club rooms, Wadestown ; Tuesday next—Methodist school, Molesworth street,-
