CAMP NOTES
ETiATIiERSTON. Colonel McDonald, Chief Infantrjt Instructor at Treutham, returned to that, camp last evening, after a twodays’ visit to Fcatherston. Lieutenant •W. H. J. Poole, N.Z.D.C., has been transferred' to the camp at Awapuni. Captain King, of the Mow Zealand Army Ordnance- Department, is visiting Featherstou Camp. Captain King is on the staff of tnat branch of the service in Wellington. Lieutenant S. A. N. Campbell, of the Dental Corps Staff, at Fcatherston has been transferred to the same branch of the service at Tauherenikau Camp. ' The Cl Camp Orchestra, under Lieutenant Prime, journeyed to Featherston last evening, and gave a most successful concert in the Salvation Army Institute. The hall was packed to the doors, and hearty soldier cheers told the visitors how much their music was appreciated.- . - The Defence, Minister has written a congratulatory letter to the editor of the Cl Camp book, the publication of Tu lA jk, pL.ce recently. Sir James Allen added- a tribute to the spirit of the men as displayed in their book which was such a success thai the editor lias decided to bring out a second and. enlarged edition.
