LONDON, January 14The “Daily Chronicle's” Stockholm correspondent had an interview . with Sir George Buchanan (late British Ambassador in Petrograd). He stated that the Bolsheviks have attained such a position at present that nobody can overthrow them. Their trump cards are peace and the general warweariness. They will remain in power until the people learn that they cannot realise their promises. Tho Bolsheviks cannot bo regarded as representative of tho whole of Russia. South Russia is going its own. way. ' “The Bolsheviks have now summoned the Constituent Assembly, said Sir George, “but my opinion is that the (committees of delegates) arc still the real holders of power. “It is impossible to foretell tho results of tho Rrest-l.itovsk negotiations. Trotsky seems to be trying to establish a separate peace, hut he is also carrying on a propaganda in the German eastern armies. His propaganda has had some results.
