To the Editor "N.Z. Times/ Sir,—l see by this morning’s paper that some traveller on the Karori teams nas a Grievance against tho Karori boro us a for not instituting a minimum fare. I have heard the. same complaint several time s before For tne information of those who_ o° not know may i rqpeat what has often been stated before? The Karori Borough Council is, largely in the hands of the City Council in thei matter of tram service. It has approached the City Council seovral times, with requests for minimum fare cars at rush hours, but the city has not seen its way to accede to the request. ~ Would the irate ■ gentleman like the Karori Borough Ctouncit to proceed in a body and lay violent • hands upon the City Fathers? —I am, etc., WILFRID SKEGG.
