PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION It is announced that a conference ot delegates from the provincial centres will be held in Wellington on the 30th and 31st of this month. Representatives from Invercargill, Gore, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, Wellington, Masterton, Palmerston, Wanganui, Napier, Hamilton, and Auckland will be present. The Hon. William Earnshaw, Rev. G. Knowles Smith, Major J, McDonald Johnston, G. W. Pethcrick, J.P., and J. Aston, J.P., are the Wellington delegates. These meetings are preliminary to the holding of a Dominion Conference at a later date, when the whole ot the branches of the Protestant Political Association throughout New Zealand will be represented, and which thereafter will become an annual event.
