Every alien is required to make application fob registration in THE PRESCRIBED FORM NOT LATER THAN DECEMBER Ist. 1917. "Alien" means a person of either sox not leas than fifteen years of age who js not a British subject either by birth or by naturalisation in New Zealand. Alien seamen may register with Collector of Customs at port where vessel is lying. Every such application shall bo in writing in duplicate, and shall be made by delivering the same personally to a Registration Officer. A certificate of registration will be issued upon receipt of each application.
