OLD NAVAL DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
The O’.d Naval Rifle Club fired Uie fourth match of their first series on Saturday afternoon in perfect weather, although the bright sunshine made sighting rather difficult. The conditions were seven shots and sichter at each 300. 500 and 6CO yards. The refills are as lollow „„„

STTBTJRBS 'RIFLE’ CLUB. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club completed their first series at ranges 350, 500 and GOO yards, seven shots at each range, at Miramar on Saturday. The best shoot for th e day was made by Fellingham, who notched a score of 97. Bellamore. at 500 yards, notched on a possible. The weather. was ideal, and the- competitors spent a very pleasant afternoon. The programme for next week will he decided --bv representatives from Karori, Old Nava’s and Suburbs, who win meet on Tuesday evening at the Od Navals’ boat shed. KABOEI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The Karoi’i Defence Rifle Club fired the fourth match of its first series on Saturday afternoon last at ranges of 300, 500 and 1 600 yards. The following are the results :
The first series was won. by Rifleman P. Chine with 278 points and Rifleman H. Bulford second with 251 points; in the handicap class Rifleman B-. W. Daniel was the winner with 264 points and Rifleman. H. Preston took second place. The results of the series are as follow: 'Scratch men: Rifleman. F. Ching. 278, Rifleman IT. On Saturday next class firing will be indulged in and the musketry course fired for the season. PE TONE RIFLE CLUB. The Petone Rifle Chib fired the third competition for the club championship and ammunition prizes on Saturday at Waiwetn. • At 300 yards several good scores were recorded several of the competitors. just missing the possible. Rifleman Kershaw scored 34 at GOO yards—a good performance on a figure target. The result of the shooting is as under: —
