F.G.—(l) The question of increased allowance in respect to wives of men engaged in home service Fas not been definitely settled. The present indication is that it will not apply. (2) The answer to the first question, applies also to tho second. S. Head, Kakariki. Tho last general election was held since the war broke out, namely, on December 10th. 1914.
