" WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the management committee ■ of tho Wellington Cricket Association was held at the Civil Service Club last evening. Mr Crombie presided. Also present were : Messrs ■ Willis, McKellar, McKenzie, E. H. Ward, and J. Howitt. . 1 Scots College applied for a wicket at Anderson Park, in lieu of the one now used by them at tho Basin Reserve, as much time was lost in going to and from practice. This was-granted. Wellington College Old Boys, in accordance with tho desire of the Cricket Association, wrote stating their intention of entering a junior team. Tho use of unsuitable nets was brought up before the committee. It was stated that children were endangered ,by cricket balls, which were not always obstructed by the narrow nets used by certain clubs. Applications to charge for admission to special games on specified- dates is to be made, and the ouestion was left in the hands of the secretary. It was thought that permission should be granted once ©very month for the duration of the season and for all representative matches. FIXTURES. Following are the senior fixtures for November 17th and 24th: — Returned Soldiers v. East, No. 1, Basin Reserve.-" 1 Petono v; Trentham, Petone. North V; Old Boys, No. 2, Basin Reserve. Junior grade fixtures for Saturday, 17th, and November 34th:— College v. Scots College, College ground. Base Records v. Marist, Basin Reserve. No. 3. Munitions v. University. Kclbnrn. Ordnance v. Hutt A, Hntt. North v. Old Boys, Basin Reserve, No. 4. THIRD GRADE. Institute A v. Banks College, Kelburn. Institute B v. South, Kelburn. College A v. St. Patrick’s, College. College B v. Marist, College. BOYS’ CRICKET LEAGUE. The following are the fixtures for Saturday Senior. Institute A v. Institute C, at Duppa street. . , Thorndon v. Institute B, at Anderson Park. ...
