Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 25. The offerings of fat stock at Addington to-day were the smallest for some timtl past. The fat lamb supply is now over, and there were onlv half a dozen races of fat sheep. Store sheep, which were mostly ewee, sold well, and there was a good demand for well grown hoggets, Prime fat cattle of good weight met with a keen sale at advanced rates, but light and unfinished sorts showed little improvement. The prices were above export level. Fat sheep showed an advance of Is fid to 2s per head on account of the shortage. There was again a fair demand for store cattle and pigs of all classes sold exceptionally well, porkers being dearer. Quotations Store Sheep—TWo and 4-tooth ewes to 435, 4 and G-tooth to 43s 3d, 6 and 8tooth to 37s 9d, sound-mouth 22s fid to (Its lid 4 and 6-tooth wethers 34s to 36s Bd, 6 and 8-tooth ,to 25s 9d, ewe hoggets 21s 2d to 31s sd, wether hoggets 15s 2d to 80s 2d, mixed sexes 23s 9d to 295. Fat Shgep—Extra prime wethers to 5Cs 6d, prime wethers 39s to 46s 6d, lighter wethers 33s 3d to 37s fid, merino wethers 30s to 36s Id, extra prime ewes to 45s 6d, prime ewes 36s fid to ids 9d, medium ewes Sis 6d to 3Cs, lighter owes 28s to 31s, hoggets 24s to 29s 3d. Fat Cattle—Extra prime steers to .£24 ss, prime £l3 15s to £2O. ordinary £9 15s to £l3 10s, extra prime heifers to £lB, prime £lO, 5s to £l4, ordinary £7 17s 6d to £lO, extra prime cows to 12s fid, prime £lO 15s to £l4, ordinary £8 17s fid to £lO 10s, Store Cattle—Yearlings £4 10s to £6 15e, 15 to 18-months’ £6 to £7,, 2-year steers £6 to £8 ss, 2-year heifers £8 10s, 2 and 2i-vear steers £9 15s, 3-year steers from £lO 10s, 8-year heifers £lO dry cows £4 to £B, dairy cows £5 to £ls. BURNSIDE MARKET. PreSS Association. DUNEDIN, July 25. At Burnside to-dav 145 fat cattle were penned, mostly of medium quality. Prime heavy bullocks £23 17s 6d to £25 ss, £22 15s. medium £l6 to £lB 10s, lighter £l3, prime heifers £lB 7s 6d, medium £l4 10s to £l6 15s, light aged £lO 10s to £l4. Sheep—2l7o were penned, of good average quality. The high values prevented export buyers operating to any extent. Prime heavy wethers 53s 7d, prime 45s to 50s fid, medium 30s to 435, lighter 33s to 36s 6d, prime heavy ewes 48s, mime 39s to 425, medium 35s to 375. light inferior 28s to 325. Lambs —507 were . penned. All were cleared under keen competition. Prime 33s 9d, inferior light 265. Pigs—A medium yarding was cleared at last week’s rates. WELLINGTON CUSTOMS. The Customs revenue received at Wellington yesterday totalled £6859 3s 7d.
