The death took place last Friday of Mr James, Leask McFarlane, aged 62. who was a member of the Australasian Institute of Marine Engineers. He served his apprenticeship at the Addington workshops. He was afterwards associated with the White Star Line for five years. He also served With the Union Steam Ship Co, for ten years. At' the time of his death he was in the employ of the Wellington Meat Company, whore ho had worked for twenty-fire rears. He was i'l charge of the company’s works on Waterloo quay. Deceased leaves two sons and one daughter. One son was killed at Gallipoli. The funeral took place yesterday, afternij&n.
