Tho Waihi-Pacroa Gold Extraction Co. for the period ending July 14th treated 13,200 tons of tailings for bullion valued at 264650 compared with a yield of 3450 from 13,000 tons last year. For the last six months tho yield has been -£26,750, compared with .£21,450 last year, an increase of 265300. Tho total Avon to date is ,6229,461. The . potato market tas further declined, as Timaru is offering to do business at £3 15s per ton, f.0.b.. sacks in. The local price at country stations hag fallen to from £2 15s to £3.
