ADDINGTON MARKET. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 18.
At the Addington market to-day entries of fat stock in nearly all departments were small, but beef was in good supply, and store cattle formed the largest proportionate offering in store stock. Store sheep were in keen demand. Fat sheep, which were barely sufficient for the local trade, were very firm. Steer beef maintained its value, but cows and heifers were rather dull of sale.
