To-night in the small Town Hall in. foresting “Talks on the War” will be given by the following five returned officers: —Captain P. Hall-Thompson C.M.G-, R.N.; Lieutenant-Colonel J. <i Hughe's, C.M.G., D-3.0-; Major h Waite, D. 5.0., N.Z.E.; Major G. E. Andrews, N.Z.S.C.; and Lieutenant B. ’i tihand, Royal Flying Corps. The col. lectivo experience or these officers includes service in Mesopotamia, Persian Guif, Egypt, Gallipoli, Franco, Belgium, and Salonika, and they can speak trom personal knowledge of” many important events on these fronts.
