HOTEL CLOSING HOURS

Taylor, a member of a deputation, which waited upon Mr Massey to-night in regard to six o’clock closing of hotels asked that ho should,"‘as member for Franklin, state his attitude on the subject. Mr Massey replied that ho was not only member for Franklin. He also was Prime Minister and ho could not commit the Cabinet. It would be wrong : and unconstitutional to do so. He stated that a.*Bill dealing with the question of hotel hours would bo introduced at an early stage of the session.
