The House of Commons adopted the principle of women's suffrage by 3tio votes to 55. AN UNIMPRESSIVE DEBATE. (Received June 51, 1.50 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 20. 'Che suffrage debate in the House of Commons was an unimpressive reiteration of hackneyed arguments for »nd against the movement. An amendment movcS by Sir F. U. Brandbury (Unionist) deciared that women were ,c(jnstitnrtiona% -avers© to taking strong action. The debate ended tamely in a thin House, the chief orators not speaking. The result of the voting was a foregone conclusion.
