HAWKE’S BAY WORKS INCREASE STORAGE CAPACITY. Proas Association. HASTINGS, Juno 1. In view of the lack of shipping and the possibility of congested storage ■next yolan, Borthwiek’s and Nelson' Bros- contemplate increasing tho storiLtro capacity at tho Paki Paki and Toraoana works by 60.000 and 40,000 carcases respectively. The Hawko s Bay Farmers’ Meat Company is also increasing its capital to extend the storage capacity at the uhakatu works. , . , , It is estimated that it will take, thirty steamers to clear stocks at tho various works in the Dominion.
