DUNEDIN, April SO, At a largely attended public meeting to-night a motion was carried almost unanimously urging tho Government to introduce legislation providing for the closing of hotels at 6 p.m. as the most effective means of securing national efficiency. Tho Mayor and the Hon. J. MacGregor were appointed as a deputation to bring the resolution before tho Acting-Prime Minister.
