One of the appellants whose case came before the Military Service Board yesterday was Charles William Porter, general carrier, Kaitoke, who stated in a letter to the chairman that he had been married ten years and had five children. The chairman (Mr T. tV. Poynton, S.M.): “If that is the case, he belongs to Division 2. tie states that >he encloses his marriage certificate, but it is not in the letter. The case will h« adjourned till April 24th to enable him to produce evidence in support pi his ttatejneat.’l
