On Tuesday night last a constable came across William ICinnaird. Chisholm. He was highly excited, indeed suffering from frightfulness. _He declared that a motor-car with, blue lights had been chasing him. The constable recognised thfc symptoms, and saved Chisholm the necessity of further dodging the mysterious car by placing him under arrest. Yesterday, in the Magistrate's Court, Chisholm was remanded for a week on a charge of helpless drunkenness.
