ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
NEW CLUB AT THE HUTT. Mr W. Walton presided over an enthusiastic meeting of some 25 players at the Butt, last week, when it was decided to form a Hutt Association Football Club, and bo affiliated to the Wellington Football As.sociation. Messrs A. Williams and B. L. Salmon represented the W.F.A. at the meeting, and fully explained the details and objects of the Association code of football. Officers were elected as follows :—President, Mr H. Baldwin; vice-presidents, Messrs E. Riddiford, V. Eidditord, E. P. Bunny, W. Walton, W. Kefr, F. L. Simpson, T. C. Brash, Callander, and Brash; bon. secretary, Mr F. Eddie; bon. treasurer, Mr G. Lusty; management committee, Messrs J. McCurly, E. Lusty, A. Swain, P. Smith. A." Smith; selection committee, Messrs F. Thorpe, P. Smith, and E. Fraser; delegate to W.F.A., Mx W. Walton; hon. auditor, Mr W. Kerr THOENDON FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual meeting of the Thorndon Association Football Club was hold last week, .Mr B. L. Salmon presiding over an attendance of about 30. Officers were elected as follows President, Mr B. L. Salmon; vice-presidents, Messrs A. Williams. 11. J. Buck, G. Roberts, H. L. Godbcr, L. White, and J. Hendry: secretary, Mr A . Thomson; treasurer, Mr T. A. Daly; selection committee, Messrs F. Sterling, H. McDonald, and H. Desmond; delegate to Wellington Football Association. Mr H. J. Buck. About eighteen new members were elected. Teams will be entered for fourth, fifth, and sixth divisions during the coming season. OLD BOXS~ ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the footbalj branch of the Marist Bros. Old Boys" Association was held in the Marist Bros, school, Tasman street, last evening. The Ecv. Bro. Egbert presided over a large attendance of members. He congratulated the members on the suecess of the past season, and hoped that this year would _ be even more successful. It was decided to enter one team in the senior division, one in the fourth and two in the fifth. Mr J. Haydel was elected club captain for the ensuing season. It was decided that the first practice bo held at Miramar on Saturday next.
