A French communique states: —The enemy’s artillery is less active north of the Oise. South of the Oise, we progressed cast of the lower forts of Coucy. There is a fairly lively artillery struggle in the region north-east of Soissons, principally in the LaffaUx sector. ’ 1 PARIS, April 10. The Germans fired 8000 shells at Reims on Sunday, causing twenty-five fires. The bombardment continues. Civilians have been warned to prepare for the evacuation of the oity.
