SPIRITUALIST CONVENTION
OFFICERS ELECTED. At the convention of Spiritualists held in Wellington on Saturday the election of officers for the coming y r wa ®,y V 7 For nine consecutive years Mr W. C. Nation, of Levin, lias held .tho office of president, and ho "was again elected. Mrs E J. Moore, who for the samo period of time has proved an energetic secretary, was again elected. Mr O. Morris was elected treasurer for the second rear. Other officers were elected as 'follow:—Vice-presidents, Messrs Kirk (Auckland), Morris (Christchurch), Miles (Wellington), Thorpe (Waihi); board of management, Messrs Turner (Wellington), Burnett (Auckland), Lewis (Waihi), Emerson (Christchurch), Day (Dunedin), Mrs Darbyshire (AVanganuiJ. Mrs Birdall (Stratford). On Sunday the speakers at tho T forenoon public meeting >vere Mr Nation and Mesdames Coventry, Birdall, and Sorensen. In the afternoon the speakers were Messrs Thorpe, Lewis. Kirk, Mr and Mrs Cross, Miss DalziM Mrs Darbyshire sang a. sacred solo. Mr J. Dav took the evening service, and gave an'address on the “Resurrection. He was listened to by a full and appreciative audience. Ho was assisted by Air Nation.
