LONDON, April 1. The wool catalogued totalled 59,8X8 bales; withdrawn by the Government, 16,580; sold, 38,676. There was a good selection of merinos and keen competition by the Home. American, and Continental trade at yesterday's sale. This was the first sale at which purchasers far export were allowed to. operate. The War Office allows the United States to take 10,000 bales out of tho catalogues, but buyers only bought about 1500. Prices are firm. Better classes are dearer. Tho Bradford market is strong and tending higher. Business is small, HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
