TRENCH COMFORTS FUND
The following subscriptions were received on Saturday for the Y.M.C.A. trench comforts work at the front:— Bainham Patriotic Recruiting Association, ■£&. The Southland Patriotic Committee has voted .£173 a month during the war. A farmer sending JSI writes an extract from a letter received from his only son at the front: "I am writing this in the Y.M.C.A. My, but they are good to us soldiers, and seem to be everywhere wo go."
